You need a wider group of people you associate with. This is how all the Bernie bots still think, all the gnashing of teeth and wailing I saw are from folks saying the democrats are nowhere near left enough.

I think you're probably right about that. Historically this country hasn't gotten more conservative, it's gotten progressively more and more Left. We had a brief surge of traditional values in the 80s but Alex P. Keaton and Roseanne and the Huxtables were no match for the Marxists.
