CARACAS, Venezuela -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez launched yet another verbal assault against President Bush upon returning from a highly charged U.S. visit Friday, calling on the American leader to resign.

"He should renounce the presidency if he has any dignity. The president of the United States has failed completely," Chavez said at the inauguration of a natural gas project in northwestern Venezuela.

I think I read in one of the news accounts that he is trying to forge an alliance with other rogue states, like N. Korea, Iran and Cuba, as an anti-American coalition.

I hope the CIA, DIA and our other intel people are keeping an eye on that.

I kind of feel like that guy is trying to overthrow our government.

You give this guy too much. I mean, he's no threat to us, all we gotta do is get a well trained sniper and pop him.

Sir, can you spell the word OIL? What about CITGO?

This guy can cause havoc with oil prices which = gas prices.

Now, we're supposed to have rich oil reserves underground in the Colorado/Utah area, plus they've discovered another rich oilfield just off Florida - again.

Time we get off our collective azzes in Congress, and wherever else we have to go, to get this product to our refineries, and give the finger to these types of people.

Which, speaking of refineries, I think I've read we do not have enough of either.

Why do we, as a country, play into these people's hands?

Yeah, great idea - assasinate a head of state. Can you imagine the uproar?

He's been accusing the US of plotting his demise for at least a year now.

If we were to take him out, it would be the equivalence of pouring an untold amount of fuel on an already open fire.

What I've heard on the news commentaries is that, we can outlast the thug.

He's a mere blip in history.
