Hi All!!

My boyfriend and I are going to be moving to Southern MD in a few weeks.

We own a 2005 GL1800 and a 2006 GL1800. Right now the bikes are in storage until we move(which stinks...I want to be riding). When we move we want to break them out and start riding again(I also have a horse and want to start riding het again too). All of our hobbies have come to a scretching halt since we decided to move :frown:

So, we are going to be looking for a place to work on our bikes, once they are back on the road. If anyone knows where we can get them worked on that'd be great.

Thanks for your help and hope to see you on the road soon.

Thanks for the info. We are moving from Texas in almost 3 weeks. We'll have to look into him.

I just got back from my first visit to Dan's shop yesterday and was quite impressed. Friendly and verry likeable. Make it a point to stop there and check them out.

What part of Md are you moving to?

We are moving somewhere in St. Mary's County, I think. My boyfriend's mother lives in a town, I believe it's called Scotland. I know it's really close to the end of the county. She is helping us find a place. We have to be out of our house in TX by the 30th, so we may stay with her for a little while first. Depends...we might go to my mom's in WV for a week or so until his mom finds something for us. She has been a great help.

You'll love Scotland. Lots to do. Nice boardwalk area and little shops. It's right on the water unless it's high tide. Then its in the water.

Hopefully she's not used to "city" life. Scotland is at the end of the world :yikes:

It is pretty down there, but DANG.

If you like rural living Scotland is that. :howdy: Alot of farm land, but a good quiet, safe area to be. Kinda like the small Texas towns. :lmao: About 15 miles from Lexington Park. I live about 3 miles from there. Use to ride bikes but gave them up and took up riding horses instead. Welcome to SOMD :flowers:

Itsbob and I live about 5 miles North of Scotland, and we have "bike events" pretty much year round.. rides, BBQ's.. tech days.. When you get here let us know, maybe we can put together a ride.

And the directions to Scotland.. drive South until you reach the end of land.. you're there.. it IS the middle of nowhere..

So, our move to MD has been moved back. :frown:

This really stinks. I was looking forward to coming, but we can't move in the house until the beginning of January. Moving during the holidays. Fun stuff.

Hope to join you all soon!!

Last year it was 60 degrees out when we did it, VERY comfortable ride.

It's a club ride and not my chapter so I will need to ask if I can invite extra folks.
