Sotterley Christmas Weekend

Anyone else go to (or planning to attend) the Sotterley Christmas Candlelight Tour this weekend? They started last night, and run tonight and tomorrow night from 5:30pm until 10:30pm giving Holiday Mansion Tours with a Civil War era program performed by the Port Tobacco Players. $12pp

Saturday 12/4 they have the Sotterley Family Christmas with horse rides, games, Santa and kid/family type stuff. 10a-4p $5pp

Last night was pretty neat. They had groups singing Christmas music, and refreshments while you waited for your tour time. The mansion was nicely decorated, and the program was very entertaining. Nothing like a cross-dressing Civil War Colonel named Dick...

Anyway, it's worth a ride to Hollywood if you need something to do on 12/3 or 12/4. I think too often we overlook some fun entertainment right here in St. Mary's County.
