Sources of Protestant Devolution

I agree with some of the comments in this article.....

One of the quotes I do agree with from the article.....

"While it pains me to see Christians turning their backs on the sanctity of life and marriage, I have to admit that whenever the media lights up with news of another Protestant church endorsing an otherwise wholly unchristian act, I find myself entirely unsurprised."

I do not believe the RCC is the only church still going down the narrow path..... The Baptist Church is hanging in there pretty good so far. There are splinter churches from those who have gone to the dark side.... that refused to go along with the church leaders and split off from the church, even tho it requires them to leave the brick and mortar and many of their church friends to do so. I thank God for those people.

Maybe... the reason the Baptists are holding out so well is the Bible itself.

Unlike many Protestant Churches, the Baptists believe that we are all saints once saved. We call on the Holy Spirit to help us interpret the Bible. Some of the other Protestant Churches still call on the church for interpretation. That opens the door for misinterpretation and misunderstanding. That opens up the wider path.... the one more traveled.

IMHO
