That is amazing, how can they possibly do that with the traffic that uses that bridge to get into the district? I work off 295 and it's going to be a mess!

Closing the S. Cap street bridge?

Man oh man there the streets are gonna run red with blood.

The blog article, FWIW, claims this is just for appearances--lowering some of the northern end of the bridge to grade-level and adding at least one more intersection for travelers to deal with--"to improve the appearance of one of the city's gateways."

Yay. Now everyone will get a better view of the crack houses.
