On Tuesday, March 29, local veterans who served during the Vietnam war were honored at the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206 in Chesapeake Beach, Calvert County. There were 53 veterans recognized at the event, including veterans who reside at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

The ceremony was held in honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day which was also recognized on March 29. That day in 1973 was the day the last U.S. combat troops departed Vietnam. The holiday was created via the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 which was signed into law by the 45th U.S. President Donald Trump.

Veterans were pinned by the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs, George W. Owings III. Post Commander Scott Deacon presented a state citation and Joy Ashcraft, the director of Maryland's Commitment to Veterans, provided veterans with a challenge coin.

After the ceremony veterans were treated to a meal and social hour.

President Joe Biden issued "A Proclamation on the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War" on March 28 where he wrote in part:

"In 2012, our Nation launched a 13-year long commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War to ensure that every veteran, family, caregiver, and survivor impacted by the difficult years in Vietnam feels our Nation's gratitude for their sacrifice. Every service member of the Vietnam generation should know that their sacrifices mattered and that their service made a difference. The names etched in The Wall at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial remind us of our loved ones who gave their all and never came home. To the families, caregivers, and survivors of the more than 58,000 service members whose names are memorialized in the black granite, we pledge to never forget the eternal sacrifice of your loved ones and what you have sacrificed for the Nation."

A co-worker of mine at Lowe's in Rockford, IL was an Army nurse in Vietnam. When I was having a delayed stress reaction over a shooting incident, during a deadly force authorized security detail, where I killed a man in 1985, happened in early 2012, Laverne talked me though it.

My neighbor, Eagle Scout, Valedictorian who used to babysit me and my bros died in VN because of the Draft. God bless you, Jim. RIP. I will never forget you.

Political wars suck. And, LBJ was a piece of poop. He had JFK assassinated. God bless the USA, and all Patriots that have died to try to save US. 🇺🇸

He had JFK assassinated
Many people won't believe it, but from everything I have read over the years from people who run in powerful circles, that is exactly correct. But, he did not act alone. The CIA (the Dulles brothers, one of whom JFK fired) hated him because he wouldn't support their shenanigans in CUBA, the mob hated him for much the same reason (they were making a fortune in Cuba before the commies booted them out), plus they felt betrayed because RFK came after them after they help poppa joe get JFK elected, and the Texas oilmen hated him for reasons I can't remember. They even circulated this poster:

Wanted_for_treason.jpg

Wanted for Treason – infamous handbill circulated on November 21, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, one day before John F. Kennedy visited the city and was assassinated.

The History Channel ran a series many years ago about the assassination. The final show concluded that LBJ was responsible. I believe his widow sued and had the video wiped from history (copies are still out there if you look hard enough). Aside from all of this, LBJ was widely documented to be a ruthless politician and real scumbag.

I know that Roger Stone has been widely smeared these days due to his involvement with Trump, but his recent book on the situation is by far the best. He said that he had wanted to publish it many years ago but was counseled by a powerful mentor to wait until after the 50 year anniversary. Remember that Stone was tight with Nixon, so he was absolutely in the inner circle of the DC machine.

Note the high user ratings for the book.

This whole situation further demonstrates how corrupt the media really is, to participate in this cover up for decades. To see them sit there with a straight face and continue to push this magic bullet bullshit is revolting. Bullets don't make 180-degree turns and when something is struck by a high speed projectile, the something responds by moving along the same vector as the projectile. His head jerked back and to the left, along the vector leading to the grassy knoll. There was more than one shooter.

Primary reason IMO. I've always said that. .
IMO, the mob were minor players in this, nothing more than some muscle, and not all of the muscle. LBJ and Dulles were the main players. The shooters were CIA dark operators and/or contractors/freelancers. The one scumbag deathbed confessed to it and I can't think of his name.

If they can pull this coverup off for 50+ years, imagine the real truth behind what happened on 9/11...

When the truth finally does come to light in either matter, the people alive who knew will plead, "oh, we didn't want to tear the country apart by letting it be known," or some other such bullshit.
