anyone else have an opinion of this movie? Wife and I rented it last night and from what I could watch (boys running around going crazy), it really wasn't that great of a movie, but I will still buy to keep up my Adam Sandler collection. Don't think this type of movie really suited him.

I think it suited him fine. I liked it because it wasn't like all the other things he has done. Like, Waterboy for instance. That was dumb. It was about time he did a really good indie flick. I enjoyed the story in "Spanglish".

And that is exactly what makes it so hilarious.

Spanglish....I never had a desire to see it cause the previews looked sucky.

I guess dumb people just like dumb humor. Kind of like that dumb movie, "White Chicks". Whatever happened to people enjoying movies that made you think, rather then having stupid jokes about pooping and farting.

White Chicks was a bit over the deep end...

I enjoy movies that makes one think. However I also like the ones were you don't have to think at all :yay:

Yeah, sometimes I enjoy those movies too. Like, what was the most recent BLAH movie I saw? Oh oh, that really bad movie with Christina Ricci and the Wolfs. Cursed. Yeah, that was dumb. Wow, lame indeed. I sat through that whole movie and it sucked. The only good thing was Christina Ricci.
