Come learn about Viking history and culture from experimental archaeologist Bruce Blackistone this Thursday, July 21 from 7-9pm!

Free event, no pre-registration required.

Not only will Bruce discuss his knowledge of the life, culture, technology of the Norse seafarers, but will include his own authentic reconstructions and those of the Longship Company for guests to interact with, including the 21' Gyrfalcon faering boat (on a trailer)!

You should look Bruce up. He's a bit eccentric, but he seems to embrace it and has a good time. I see them rowing around the creek sometimes when I'm hunting for fat perch.
I've known about the Longship Company for decades. I used to participate a lot in the Society for Creative Anachronism.
