Spilled Milk

My two year olds lid came off of her sippy cup as she was crawling in my lap, so how do I keep it from stinking when it dries. I need some suggestions. We just bought this couch less than 2 months ago and besides a few milk dripples I have never had a full cup of milk dumped on 1 cushion

Clean with a warm soapy rag.....make sure you wring out the rag well....rinse soap out of rag and repeat. Use as little water as possible.

The warm soapy rag will take care of the stain and odor.

Thanks, I pretty much did that 10 times. I am just worried it will not be enoug and it will stink

It will, but eventually the methane gas from farting into your cushions will neutralize the sour milk smell...

If the milk spill was not from her being sick, then the odor should fade quickly and you can always wait unit the cushion is dry and then spray with some frebreeze.....

nope the darn lid just popped off, poor thing was so upset she told me to put her milk back in her cup NOW

Can't you vaccum shampoo clean your couch? Like the one you use to steam clean your carpet? It can be used on the couch as well.

It's just an idea to try.

I don't have a steam cleaner, we have hardwood floors throughout our house so we never needed one. I could borrow one from a friend if need be though Thanks.
