Yesterday, as I stepped into an elevator I heard a phone ringing from the intercom. I thought this was strange, then I heard a click and someone say hello. I told the voice that she had reached an elevator. She replied that I didn't have to yell at her and hung up. I guess the elevator intercom is loud in case someone has a heart attack or something and they're on the floor while speaking.

Then I heard about this today on Paul Harvey, and he was saying we rarely hear about elevator accidents anymore because of today's advanced technology.

The building is the world headquarters for accounting firm Ernst & Young.

Anyone on here work for them? I need an "in" for internal audits.
