this is just sad. Some people shouldn't be pet owners. I mean you have the cat for 15yrs then say don't want you no more so off to the shelter you go. I know I am going to get slapped for my comments.

Now why would you get slapped for your comments, makes sense to me!

well some people on here say my comments make no sense and that I am stupid. Which I think I am far from being.

I could never give an animal up at the age of 15 after having it all those years. My animals are with me til its time for them to leave this world. I had to put 3 to sleep so far in this life of mine. I guess this lady or whomever had the cat just figured after it turns a certain age its time to get rid of it and I bet they get another and then keep it til it turns a certain age then say off to the shelter you go too. My animals are my babies and would never get rid of any of them because of age or any of that.

What if.....

You love your cat...you have loved this cat for 15 years. You lose your job, no family to help take care of your family. You can barely put food on the table for your children. You try to find a home for the cat with friends but everyone is in the same financial situation. Do you keep the cat and let it starve because you need to feed your children first, or do you give it to a shelter in hopes that a family or person better off than yourself can take care of the pet you love so much.
