Hi,
A friend of mine is visiting from out of state. He has a Sprint cell phone and wanted to know about coverage in the Leonardtown area. Since I use verizon, I have know idea how well Sprint works. Could anyone who uses it let me know?

Thanks so much,
Joe

My parents and I all have sprint phones. The coverage is actually really good. There is one black hole but I'm not exactly sure where that is. It's on one of the major thoroughfares, though. It lasts for about 3 minutes and that's it.

Well, Nextel was pretty bad. The coverage on NEXTEL only got worse in the later months of 2006 and early 2007 as Sprint began to takeover, and anytime I call anybody on a Sprint, their coverage is pretty awful.

Not entirely sure about Leonardtown, but anywhere else I've been, they've sucked.

I have good coverage with nextel thru there.

:yeahthat:

My mutts have nextel and I now have sprint....the coverage with nextel is a little better but not by much

the only place that I don't have good signal is down by Back Road Inn and that last till I turn on Bayside Rd....and as soon as you start going down the hill in Clements you go into "roam"

When I call sprint they tell me that sprint and nextel aren't completely "talking" to each other yet...but, will be by later on this year or early next year

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for your replies. That helps! He does a lot of business by phone and was concerned about missing calls.

My best,
Joe
