Just about every single driver used to run different and unique paint schemes for The Winston. Dale's American flag car, Darrell's chrome car, Jeff Gordon's Jurassic Park car and Mark Martin's throwback car he won the race with in 2005 were some of my all-time favorite cars. Now, there are like two drivers who have different schemes for the race.

NASCAR's changed the format so many times and made it so inclusive that it's no longer what it used to be. Oh, and the race itself is pretty boring. Can't remember the last time I watched the Sprint All-Star race and enjoyed it -- probably in 2005 when Mark won.

The mandatory green flag pit stop used to be fun as well, especially when Frankie Stoddart manipulated it and pitted on the last lap to NASCAR's ire.

This used to be one of my favorite races, just because it was something everyone wanted to see and it was fun to watch. Just something else NASCAR has managed to take the fun out of.

And who's ####ing bright idea was it to run the Showdown on Friday night? That's infinitely stupid.

At least the Xfinity Series is in Iowa tomorrow.

I decided to watch except, I don't get FOX Sports 1, just FS2. NASCAR.com is worthless and so is FOX Sports GO.

Only thing worse than the bad racing is this television contract. FOX Sports can go to hell.

I turned on FoxSports 1 at 7pm expecting Showdown race instead watch some new qualifying for All Star at 9pm
