Look on the SSA web site and found nothing. Thought asking here may uncover the facts because some may have been in the same boat.
My wife is on SSA disability and our teenage son is also receives a benefit because of it. Now that he is turning 18 the benefits will stop and SSA is asking for any money that was left over from his benefit be returned. Nothing on the web site or information books about this requirement.
Anybody run into this?
