Well ..... Did you know, that Codeine is really a prodrug? Meaning that it really isn't a true drug until after it is taken. The liver converts, metabolizes, it into about 10% of a dose into morphine. Some people can't convert codeine at all into morphine. And some people convert way way more than 10% of a dose into morphine. Those people have to be real careful.
