St Mary's County Camera Club

I have two purposes in submitting this post:

One is to let members and friends know that we have a new website! We found a new host with no pop-up ads, and you'll find the visit much more enjoyable. The new url is www.smccc.org. Please check us out!

The other purpose is to let any who might be interested in photography (but didn't realize there's a very active camera club in the area) know that there is indeed a place where you can talk to others about the subject, hear lectures on the subject, and even submit photos for competition. If you're unsure of your talents, not to worry - we have many novices (and a few very talented amateurs and pros also).

We meet at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum on first Wednesdays of the month, Sep - Jun, at 7PM. Membership dues are $15 individual / $20 family, but visitors are always welcome.

BTW, I've asked SOMD to update the Club's account with the new url, don't know how long it'll take. Don't bother with http://smccc.freeyellow.com.

It works fine now, someone at SOMD must have fixed it for you. It did not work at first.
