Lexington Park – Todd Morgan, current St. Mary’s County Commissioner, has announced his intention to run for the Maryland State Delegate District 29-C seat. “I have enjoyed the past three terms serving the community as a commissioner. Although my time in this position is ending, I believe there is more work to be done. To that end, I am announcing my candidacy for the District 29-C Maryland State Delegate seat.”
The District 29-C seat, currently held by Gerald W. (Jerry) Clark, will be vacated as Clark recently announced he will not seek reelection.
If elected, Morgan will focus his efforts on lowering taxes, promoting small business, supporting law enforcement and first responders and empowering education.
