I just heard that the FBI is actually involved with the investigation on this case. I guess that makes sense, seeing as it was a very well planned out crime, and the criminals may be crossing state borders.
FBI gets called in for all kidnappings. ( i think)

Was on channel 4 at 4pm this afternoon. They had a chopper over the CVS.
I went to lunch at Monterey's in San Souci around 11 and there were 4 or 5 'copters in the air then.

I hope the catch them but I must say it was a very well thought out and executed robbery. A lot planning went into this.

Pfft you don't impress me
Does anyone know the bank manager? I hope she is ok. I would be so afraid to go back home knowing they know where I work or live.

I was there yesterday - place was unusually quite. Guess we all got there about noon; Waiter said business has been on the decline. Sign of the economic times, I guess, and with all the construction jobs on the decline, it makes one wonder how much more crime are we going to see in our area?

I guess earlier this morning I saw some smart ass snippy comment that the robbers must have had an adjustable rate mortgage, but it is a fact, crime is going to be on the rise. Many of the criminals being released from prison cannot find jobs. There just are very few out there.

The restaurant was virtually empty even when we left around noon. Used to be if you didn't get there by 11:30, you were going to have a wait. Restaurants and anything normally used on expendable income are feeling the pinch big time. :frown:

Crime is definitely on the increase as people are having a hard time making ends meet and unfortunately a few resort to crime as the means to make those ends meet. :ohwell:

As I said in another thread, items of discard, or those to be recycled, that we normally kept in a fenced in enclosure - have been stolen - starting in the last month and a half. Car/truck batteries, broken down cardboard boxes, and plastic totes, used for shipping new, or replenished inventory.

Corporate headquarters has told us to lock them up, inside the back of the store. Sad when people have to sink that low.

I don't know her, but she's in White Sands a few houses down from me. Street is clear tonight, but I was a little paranoid tonight coming home.

Kinda had a hard time firing up Grand Theft Auto 4 tonight on the PS3... :bigwhoop:

I know her, from a business point of view. My Homeowners Association Dues account is at her bank. I have been negotiating with her, about setting up an online bill pay option, that her bank is offering.

Seems like a nice lady.
