Yea, I got nothing.
if it was a test then why would they be alarmed they could not reach the owner?

not me; now if it was a school incidentHow many parents have made the situation worse by trying to pick up their kids?

control center might not of known. I dunno it was on the scanner.if it was a test then why would they be alarmed they could not reach the owner?
Not me....nothing is happening at his school, no reason to pick him up.How many parents have made the situation worse by trying to pick up their kids?
No need to apologize, just an observation by meI'm sorry your right.

good pointPlenty of people in this area have personal connections to the people that operate those helos - my former coworker's husband is a mech. for trooper 7; I'm betting she's interested in specifics.

I would rather they stay in school! Do they know if these robbers were armed?I put my kid on the bus this morning and then went to her school to talk to her teacher about something. Millstone Landing Rd. was blocked by 3 cop cars but they let me go through toward the school. As I was parking, a teacher approached me and told me they are on lockdown. She said there was a bank roobery and the suspects fled down Millstone Landing. Whether that was accurate or not I don't know. My kid is at school now and they are still locked down. I didn't hear about the kidnapping until I got to work. I called the school earlier and they said they will still send the kids home 2 hours early. This is all very nerve racking.
We must have been posting at hte same time. lolNot sure if this has been posted or not, sorry if it has.
You may have heard about an incident this morning in St. Mary’s County involving a Calvert County resident. We are communicating regularly with law enforcement to remain up to date on the situation. We have informed all schools in the county to maintain a heightened level of alert and we have asked all schools from Prince Frederick south to go into a “partial lockdown.” In a partial lockdown, all doors except the front door are locked. Doors on portable classrooms are locked, but students are not moved into the main building. PE classes and recess are held indoors. This status will remain in effect until we are advised of any change in the situation.
