St. Mary's Health Share

I'm new to Southern Maryland, and have qualified for the Health Share program. Although, there is not a list of Doctors that accept this type of insurance. I was wondering if anyone knew of any doctors that does???

I know brenton medical group doesn't take it and a few other places don't either. You have to find a list of doctors who take it. they all kept asking me if i had health share and I said no. I said I got 2 different insurances when i handed them the card they took it with no issues but they told me no healthshare.

Check with the St. Mary's Health Department. They might have a list. Also check with St. Mary's Hospital......Good Luck Welcome to St.Mary's!!!

I know a lot of places stopped taking it because the company that the office bills made it almost impossible to get paid and when they do get paid, they did not get enough money to pay for the expense of the appointment (salary of the staff and supplies).

If healthshare would stay on top of their claims, I think offices would of continued to take it.
