St. Mary's lake 11/17 Fishing report

Went out with the kayak on the lake around 1pm. Water level is starting to come back up. Still too low to launch a boat from a trailer, but not a kayak. Managed 7 fish. Ended up with a SML grand slam, pickerel, crappie, bass & bluegill.

Right now is the time for pickerel. I lived like 5 minutes from there last year and was there 4-5 times a week. Around this time is caught pickerel to bass 3:1.

Wow, that is a really nice pickerel! I hooked onto one there myself but it threw my hook I think your catch could have eaten it, it was so small.
