Anyone have any experiences they can share about this organization? I'm considering signing up my two boys (5 & 6) for T-ball this spring. It's going to cost me $125, so I'm wondering if it's worth it. How many times a week do they practice? How many games? How are the coaches? Just wondering if anyone can tell me anything good or bad about them.

TIA.

From What I can remember, T-ball is usually practice twice a week and games are twice a week. I think if your kids want to do it then let them. The coaches are usually a kid from the team, they may even try to get you to help out on occasion. Its been a LONG time ago 20 years since I have played organized baseball..

Hopefully this has house...

Little League down here in St Marys is very well thought of.. I know that for a fact !

The bottom line is at least spend the money and if your kids dont like it, there just wont be a next year (season)...

where did you see that it would be 125? The website says it's 45$ per child.

T-ball has a flat $45.00 fee per player with the fundraiser being optional. Participation in the fundraiser can be indicated on the registration form.

My kids do the Mechanicsville/Hughesville Little league. It is run pretty well and should be better this year with having brought in an umpiring group that was about the only issue I had last year. My daughter has played for 5 years.. She moved up 2 years ago to Softball and loves it. This is little dudes second year with T-ball.

Southern Maryland is usually pretty organized with little leagues.

Also practices are usually twice a week until games start and then its 2 games a week. One evening and then one sat game. T-ball is usually in the mornings on Saturdays. A players parent is usually the coach of the team.. I will warn you that some parents/coaches are a little over zealous with the sport. You will be able to tell pretty quickly what your coach is like.
