Saw that at 4am this morning on, I believe on NBC4's news site, figured it would be included in Gurps's early morn aggregation.
Except that isn’t in the ranch club nor do they have high schoolers.

Pretty sure they've done away with reform school, unfortunately. Now they just stay in gen-pop at school.

No "they" haven't and no they don't. That's an automatic 10 day suspension from school at the least. It used to be a request for expulsion was also automatic but that was changed at the State level several years ago to be Principal determined.
The kid would indeed be sent to Cheltenham for at least a couple days if not longer, would depend on the Juvenile Master.

When my son was in maybe 3rd grade at Dent they took the boys for a field trip to Boys Village at Cheltenham. When he go home I asked him what he thought about it, he said dad, i'm never going to juv'ie!
