Just wondering what kind of insurance you need to open a stable? My dad is considering doing this since he's retiring and has grown up with and worked with horses and has the land. He's getting another barn also and always gets asked about boarding people's horses which he'd like to do now but doesn't know what the insurance is like or where to start. Any one know?

Do tell him NOT to board horses without a policy. He will have to get an Ag-pac commercial liability policy (I have 100K/300K) and make sure that his barns and other shelters are covered by the same, cause his homeowners will not touch them in case of loss, if they have anything to do with the horses.
