I know people on here have their kids in 4h, and some have been in 4h their selves. So y'all can back me up when i say 4h is a good program to get your kids in. The definition of 4h (given by the national 4h web site) is "4-h is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills"
I just wanted to open my 4h clubs doors to anyone interested (any one under 19), because we are having our open house Friday nov. 7th starting at 6:30. You can stop in and find out if you would like to join or not. Are club, the Stablemates of Charles county, focuses primarily on horse activities, but we do other things too. We have meetings once a month, where we have a craft, public speaker or activity, then we have an activity planned for each month. This month we went to the Washington International Horse Show. If you don't have a horse, no worries, we have several members who don't have horses either!
