What is with the cheerleaders. So the Hurricanes has cheerleaders now. I really like to see them cheer on the ice though..

Well, guess I have been out of the loop in hockey. From the looks of it they have been together since 99. They cheer in the stands but they still do the stupid stuff like shoot T- shirts into the stands. My husband and I stop going to them game ever since they moves to D.C.. Now we went all the time when they were at the Capital center. My husband's friend growing up was one of the guys that did the siren at the goal. ( Goal judge). I use to love going to the games, and standing outside to get the players to sign our crap.

I personally could care less who wins the cup.. Now if the Capitals ever pull their heads out of their A** and make it that far then I would care.

I think it's pretty neat that the entire center is singing along to the "Oh Canada" anthem AND the Star Spangled Banner. And people say southerners are a bunch of ignants.
