On 7/9/2021, Tpr K. Poland conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and Spring Valley Drive, Lexington Park, MD. Upon making contact with the occupants, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine and CDS paraphernalia were located. The driver, identified as Carley Shayne Norris, 23 of Lexington Park, MD was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged with CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana, CDS: Possess Paraphernalia and CDS: Civil Possess Marijuana.
On 7/17/2021, Tpr J. Pope and Cpl. J. Palumbo responded to Quatman Road, Lexington Park for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival, a gray, Volkswagen Jetta displaying LA registration 559CZB was located severely damaged by fire on Quatman Rd. The vehicle was reported stolen on 7/17/21 through the Charles County Sheriff's Office. The State Fire Marshal responded to complete the investigation. On 7/17/2021, Tpr K. Poland responded to the Family Dollar on Great Mills Road, Lexington Park, MD for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Shivon Vivonique Daniels, 42 of Lexington Park, MD was inside the store, creating a disorderly scene. She then left the store without paying for an item and when approached by the store employee, she returned inside the building and threw the item causing damage and then left again. Daniels was located and placed under arrest. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Malicious Destruction of Property; Theft less than $100; and Disorderly Conduct.
