On 7/20/2021, Tfc E. Ruggles conducted a traffic stop in the area of Point Lookout Road and Piney Point Road, Callaway, MD. Upon making contact with the occupants, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, suspected marijuana and CDS-Not Marijuana were located. The driver, identified as Amelie Laure Dayries, 33 of Leonardtown, MD also had two (2) open arrest warrants through St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and Calvert County Sheriff's Office. Dayries was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged with CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana and CDS: Civil Possess Marijuana.
On 7/23/2021, Cpl. S. Barlow responded to the area of Indian Way, Lexington Park, MD for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the described vehicle was located and occupied. Contact was made with the four (4) occupants and an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, suspected marijuna was located. The passenger, identified as Shawnye Shawnque Wills-Dickens, 21 of Lexington Park, MD was charged on a Criminal Citation for CDS Possess Marijuana more than 10grams.
On 7/23/2021, Tpr Jordan Pope responded to McKays, Hollywood, MD for a theft report. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Paul David Hanessian, 34 of Milford Mills, MD did steal merchandise from the store and fled. Hanessian was located and placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Theft under $100.
On 7/24/2021, Tfc R. Kaszubski responded to 84 Lumber, Lexington Park, MD for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the vehicle was located and occupied. Contact was made with the driver and an odor of maijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, suspected marijuana along with CDS-Not marijuana was located. The driver, identified as Marcus De Von Shorter, 33 of Lexington Park, MD was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana; CDS Opiate without Prescription; and CDS: Civil Poss Marijuana-Less than 10 Grams.
On 7/27/2021, Tpr Jordan Pope responded to Piney Point Road, Piney Point, MD for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Andrea Mrie Leach, 37 of Piney Point, MD did assault the victim. Leach was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Assault Second Degree.
On 7/27/2021, Tfc M. Johnson responded to Riverview Drive, Hollywood, MD for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, Steven James Hearing, 28 from Hollywood, MD did assault the victim. Hearing was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Assault Second Degree.
