On 6/9/2021, Tfc E. Ruggles responded to a property damage accident on Three Notch Road and McDowell Lane, California, MD. The at-fault driver, Lauren Candice Bruno was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence and placed under arrest. Search incident to arrest, revealed CDS-Not Marijuana. Bruno was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Driving Under the Influence and CDS: Possess - Not Marijuana.
On 6/10/2021, Tpr. M. Koontz conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road at Exploration Drive, Lexington Park, MD. Upon contact with the driver and passenger, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, CDS-Not Marijuana was located and an investigation revealed it belonged to the passenger, identified as Richard Thomas Jenkins, 34 of Callaway, MD. Jenkins was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Possession of CDS-Not Marijauna.
On 6/11/2021, Tpr J. Pope and TFC T. Howard responded to a residence on Lexwood Court, Lexington Park, MD for a reported assault. The investigation revealed an argument ensued between John Francis Dorsey, 33 of Lexington Park, MD and a female relative. During the altercation the female was assaulted by Dorsey who left the scene prior to police arrival. Dorsey was located a short time later and arrested. During a search incident to arrest at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, CDS-Not Marijuana was located on his person. Dorsey was charged with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, CDS: Possess-Not Marijuana, CDS: Possess Paraphernalia and CDS: Possess Contraband-Place of Confinement.
On 6/12/2021, Tpr M. Koontz conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and Millstone Landing, California, MD. Upon making contact with the driver, Breanna Alyssa Barnes, 26 of Great Mills, MD, an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, CDS-Not Marijuana was located. Barnes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Possession of CDS-Not Marijauna and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.
On 6/13/2021, TFC J. Powis responded to Walmart, 45485 Miramar Way, California, MD for a reported Theft. Investigation revealed Delores Shirley Cole, 63 of Lusby, MD stole approximately $350 merchandise. She was transported to St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Theft $100 to under $1500.
On 6/13/2021, Tfc A. Piscopo-Bann responded to the Mechanicsville area for a reported violation of protective order. Investigation revealed Casey Wayne Bridgett, 26 of Hollywood, MD violated the terms of a final protective order by contacting the victim. Bridgett was transported to St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Violation of Exparte/Protective Order.
On 6/14/2021, Tpr K. Poland responded to Patuxent River Inn, 21847 Three Notch Road, California, MD for a reported trespassing complaint. The investigation revealed Dontavious Jerron Holley, 30 of Temple Hills, MD; and Mattea Kaydell Linville, 20 of Lusby, MD were both previously issued Notices Not to Trespass by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Trespass: Private Property and Burglary-Fourth Degree.

Upon arrival contact was made with the female victim and investigation revealed that the suspect, Kerry Joseph Woods, Jr, 24 of Lexington Park, MD did commit an assault. Woods was arrested and transported to St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Assault-Second Degree.
