(LARGO, MD) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Forestville that claimed the life of a Prince George’s County man.
The identification of the deceased victim is pending next of kin notification. He was operating a Suzuki sport motorcycle at the time of the crash. Emergency medical services personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. this evening, troopers from the Forestville Barrack responded to calls reporting a crash involving the motorcycle and a Nissan Altima on Central Avenue at Watkins Park Drive in Largo, Maryland. The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the Altima, identified as Antanaisa Colvin, 22, of North Carolina, was attempting to make a left from westbound Central Avenue. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Central Avenue when the crash occurred.
Charges against the driver of the Altima are pending the investigation. Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash at this time. The investigation continues…
