On 2/17/2022, Tpr N. Zack conducted a traffic stop on Pegg Road at Westbury Boulevard, Lexington Park, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed suspected Marijuana, belonging to the passenger and suspected Hydrocodone pills, belonging to the driver. The passenger was identified as Lavonya Shenice Maddox, 29 of Mechanicsville, MD. Maddox was issued a civil citation for Possession of CDS: Marijuana Less Than 10 Grams, and was released from the scene. The driver was identified as Breona Monet Bumbrey, 26 of Lexington Park, MD. Bumbrey was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. A secondary search of Bumbrey at the Detention Center revealed suspected Marijuana, less than 10 Grams. Bumbrey was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana, and was also issued a civil citation for Possession of CDS: Marijuana Less Than 10 Grams.
On 2/20/2022, Tpr C. Riggs responded to a residence on Oakland Avenue, Valley Lee, MD for the report of an unattended child. Upon arrival, the complainants advised a 3 year old boy knocked on their door and they did not know who he was. Contact was eventually made with the child’s mother, identified as Teresa Ann Johnson, 32 of Valley Lee, MD. It was determined that the child had been left alone at home for at least 30 minutes when he then walked to a neighbor's house. Johnson was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with Confine Unattended Child.
On 2/20/2022, Tpr D. Black conducted a traffic stop on Three Notch Road at First Colony Boulevard, California, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed suspected Cocaine and suspected Marijuana. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Marlon Dewayne Stewart, 44 of Lexington Park, MD. The passenger was identified as Christine Ann Miller-Stewart, 42 of Lexington Park, MD. Investigation also revealed that Miller-Stewart had a final protective order against Stewart. Both individuals were arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Stewart was charged with Violation of Exparte/Protective Order, Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana, Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia, and was issued a civil citation for Possession of CDS: Marijuana Less Than 10 Grams. Miller-Stewart was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia.
On 2/21/2022, Tpr J. Pope conducted a traffic stop on Three Notch Road at Exploration Drive, Lexington Park, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed suspected Hydrocodone. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jacqueline Marie Causey, 41 of Lusby, MD. A search incident to arrest revealed a pipe containing suspected Cocaine. Causey was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana x2 and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia x2.
