Sorry....just heed the warning.
This is my favorite time of year to walk in the woods. Mushrooms everywhere, we must have seen 10 different sizes, shapes, and colors.
I carried my spiderweb stick with me, twirling it in front. No problem with those little buggers. Didn't even think about the ticks.

I was walking one of my dogs by the wooded area last night before bed and itched all night. Until you just mentioned it, I didn't link the cause.
If you were itching where you had bare skin exposed, my money is on no-see-ums. Those damned things have tormented me all summer.

Yeah - I had shorts on - I got up the morning - jumped in the shower and washed everything on my bed.
It is impossible to sleep when you feel like you have bugs crawling all over you.
