Saw it yesterday via FB post. Casting sucks, although whoever they put in for Lula might work.

Might go see it totally out of curiosity to see how bad they veer off from the book.

I had heartburn over the casting, but we'll see. There've been movies before that I sneered at the cast, then it turned out to be a very good movie and the characters were spot on.

What love is all about
I think it looks like it is going to be good, and it seems to be sticking with the storyline of the book. As long as what you are seeing in the preview is actually in the movie that is.

Katherine Heigl will take some getting used to (that accent!), but other than that it looks like it'll be cute.

I'm afraid to even look. I love those books and I'm not sure there is casting to live up to what I've pictured in my mind.

I think the perfect Stephanie Plum would be Marisa Tomei circa My Cousin Vinny.

 real good one and I could actually see that...

Roberta... ugg... I happen to like Katherine Heigl, it is the rest of the casting I'm not sure about.

Katherine Heigl is apparantly a huge fan of the stories and has put a section for this movie on her website so fans can ask her questions.

I have to say that there is one scene in the trailer -- where Joe is freaking out because Stephanie has the naked guy in his car -- and she does this facial expression with her eyes that is (in my opinion anyway) totally Stephanie Plum!

Based on that alone, I think I'm going to go see it, even though Debbie Reynolds is soooooo not Grandma Mazur!
