I had to replace the starter on my bike. Got a good deal from some after market place online. Harley wanted $400, Another company wanted $300 I got this one for $140. Works great. Almost identical to the OEM.

Oh and when you install the starter and you forget the big O ring that goes around the bendix where it inserts into the primary drive it will massively leak oil.

If it leaks oil down there it will fling back off the drive belt and get all over your back wheel.

That song was playing when the back end came around on me. Funny I remember that

Get rid of that oil on your tire. A little gas on the street and a few burnouts should work.

Easy peasy. However evidently I have a mental block for o rings. I took it off the old one, layed it on the bench intending to install it and ended up throwing a rag over it so I didn't see it. Forgot and stuck the starter on.
