Just sneakin' around....
Needed milk, so ran to Giant. The parking lots were full to capacity like they were giving it away. 6 foot distancing in the store? Not happening. Limited number of people in the stores? Nope.

So, by all scientific reasoning and direction, I should be dead next week.

You should have taken pictures and sent them to the Health Dept, then published them anywhere you could. And if they decline to shut down the Giant, all the local small businesses that bitch goes after can pursue legal action.

The problem with us is that we're sane and it doesn't occur to us to get all moronic like that. But maybe it's time to fight back against these aholes.

Saw on the news last night that on the Eastern Shore, don't remember if it was Delaware or MD, the big box stores including Giant have explicit waivers for capacity while other stores in the very same strip malls are being fined.

Screw with the small businesses. This country goes to $hit more every day.

Nick's always has a deputy at the front door. When they have a big sale going on they try to limit the number inside so the meat counter is not over run. At Thanksgiving they were limiting the number going to the meat counter. I walked up and was asked where I was going and said deli and was let in while the line for meat was back to Office Depot.

I think I'd have been hitting Fast stop or 7-11. I saw my local store already packed at 10:30am, so made a wide berth and just picked up snacks at the not crowded drug store

Nicks and the Sheriff have put each moonlighting deputy in a lose lose scenario.
Can the Deputy enforce masks? 6'distancing? could 5 people rush the store? A count??? Is he supposed to be a bean counter or police officer??
I used to moonlite frequently. An Oriental liquor store owner wanted me to sit in a straightback chair on a 4 foot podium watching for shoplifters . No, I didnt. He didnt understand why. Never went back.
