As Low Pressure Rapidly Strengthens Off The Mid Atlantic Coast... Strong Northwest Winds Will Develop Across The Region. Winds Will Increase Late This Evening And Through The Overnight Hours. By Monday Morning Sustained Winds Of 20 To 30 Mph With Wind Gusts To Around 50 Mph Are Expected. The Strong Winds Will Continue Into Monday Evening Before Diminishing.
A Wind Advisory Means That Winds Of 35 Mph Are Expected. Winds This Strong Can Make Driving Difficult... Especially For High Profile Vehicles. Use Extra Caution.[/font]

Radar Indicated Moderate To Heavy Rainfall Continuing Over Much Of The Warned Area. 1.5 To 2.5 Inches Of Rainfall Has Already Occurred And Another 1/2 To One Inch Of Rainfall Can Be Expected Through Early This Evening. Some Low Lying Areas Are Already Experiencing Flooding. With Runoff From Todays Heavy Rainfall Continuing Through This Evening Additional Flooding Of Small Creeks And Streams Is Expected Through 900 PM Across The Baltimore And Washington Metro Areas.
