Straight Bills

I know this doesn't apply to as many people as it once did since cash is a thing of the past, but does it bother you when your paper currency is not all facing the same way? It is a pet peeve of mine. And especially if you are a teller at a bank, you should be able to get it right! I got a $100 worth of fives at the bank yesterday and as the teller counted them back to me, 80% were facing backwards, upside down, and left side out. And she made no attempt to straighten them. Really?? You have one job at the bank - count money! Why can't you give me straight bills? I can somewhat understand these new fancy machines they have that count money for your you or spit out the correct currency without physically touching it, but by damn, when you are physically counting the money to me, the least you can do is put all the heads in the same direction facing the same way!

It's sorta like the change thing we talked about a couple days ago - don't pile the change on top of the bills when you hand it back to me. Basic money skills are lost on kids these days.

Is it my OCD or is this just basic stuff?

I had a cash biz back in the day and when I made daily deposits, the bank required all the bills to be in the same direction.

In my wallet I want bills to be facing the same way and grouped by denomination high to low. When I'm working a register they all need to be facing the same way in the till. Fortunately in my last job where I handled cash, my co-workers were just as ticky about that.
