Jan. 14 - Spokane police say three men went streaking at a north side restaurant about 5am Wednesday morning. Police say they entered the Denny's Restaurant at 4903 North Division and trotted nakedly around the dining room.
One had parked his car in front of the restaurant and left it running so they could make a quick getaway.
According to police when he looked outside for the car, he saw a stranger driving it away. Not only was the car gone, but so was the clothing of the streakers.
Police responded to the location and found the streakers huddled in an adjacent car lot, trying to stay hidden and warm. Police say they failed at both.
The car owner told officers he saw "a tall, skinny white male" leave the restaurant while they were streaking. He said the man walked outside, got into the streaker's car and drove it away.
Police said the stolen car is a blue 1988 Mazda 323 with Washington plates 844 RSA.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check, 456-2233.
