Stuffed ham time!

So I stuffed my ham tonight and I put updates on FB as I was stuffing. The recipe I use is a little over 100 years old and I’ve tweaked it a bit and it is pretty amazing. Or so I’ve been told. Well, EVERYbody is a critic and I was told that I did not have enough cabbage. Lemme tell you this, the kale I used this year was AH-mazing. The raw stuffing was good enough to stand on its own, I can just imagine how good it’ll taste come Thursday.

I don’t miss my grocery store ownership days where I would stuff and cook up to 24 hams per day, 250+ in November and December.

IMO stuffed ham is best when it’s still hot - right out of the oven. I know plenty will disagree with me but go ahead, try it Hot!

Did you post it on the St. Mary's site? I saw a picture and someone commented about cabbage. It looked GOOD to me if that was yours.

@UglyBear, Nick's of Calvert might have some, as well. I've had theirs, and it's good - but - I will order and go to Chaptico Market before getting NIck's.

My palette can detect a taste difference and I prefer Chaptico Market's.

Hey Gilligan, you give good directions. How far is Chief's from my house...about an hour or so maybe? I have to pick up stuffed ham there tomorrow - no idea where I'm going. Thank you.

It's probably more like three hours from your house...but here...hope this helps.
