The very first cake I ever made was horrible. I think I was in 6th grade, something like that. Well I didn't realize there was a difference in oils and when I couldn't find the vegetable oil I just used the olive oil instead. OMG yuck! It looked lovely but one bite and we were all spitting it out. I tried though, I tried...((sniffle))

One of my earliest cakes was a disaster. I baked the frosting mix in my easy bake oven instead of the cake mix and gave it to my dad with pride...he ate a bite and then tried to give it to our dogs and they wouldn't eat it.

Funny story WR... two years ago, girl had a friend stay overnight and they decided to make me a cake for an early Mother's Day surprise. They poured their little hearts and souls into it. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as planned. It didn't rise. Then they frosted it while it was still hot, so the frosting melted right into the hot cake. Then they decided to improvise and use some Cool Whip they found in the freezer. It was like a big giant hockey puck.I have decided to make cake pops. I am good at those

Awww! Only thing missing is a strawberry.Funny story WR... two years ago, girl had a friend stay overnight and they decided to make me a cake for an early Mother's Day surprise. They poured their little hearts and souls into it. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as planned. It didn't rise. Then they frosted it while it was still hot, so the frosting melted right into the hot cake. Then they decided to improvise and use some Cool Whip they found in the freezer. It was like a big giant hockey puck.
