I'm trying to access a webpage. However, upon doing so I'm getting prompted w/ this message:

Sorry, unable to display page.We have detected that JavaScript has been disabled in your browser. Our site requires JavaScript be enabled. Please enable JavaScript in your browser settings and try again.

I've checked and double-checked my settings and javascripting is enabled. What do I do now? TIA!

I used to have that problem all the time. Now that I have a new computer, it doesn't happen. So, you need a new computer. :lmao:

If it were my home computer there'd be no doubt that I'd buy a new one. Especially since I've been having so many problems with it. It's my dang work computer!

IE 6.0

How do I reinstall? Is there a particular site I should use or...?

You probably have a setting somewhere in your security for IE that keeps Javascript from running. Or it may be your own firewall or other Internet Security.

Hell, before I reset it, my security wouldn't even let me see "The Drudge Report". No kidding.

See if this helps.
If you go to your windows control panel and clip on internet options and go under security and see where your Java is set. If you are using a browser (Netscape), log on and then go to preferences and there you can enable Javascript.
