Stupid Move on Jeopardy Last Night

Going into Final Jeopardy:
Reigning Champ: About $22K
Second place (the blonde): About $8K
Last place: About $2K
All three missed answer.
Last place bets $1900 and ends up with $100.
Blonde bets everything. Winds up with zero.
Reigning champ bets <$1000.
There was no way blonde could beat champ, so why bet anything? Third place couldn't bet her.
Blonde winds up in third place and gets only$1000. Second place would have gotten her $2000.
Stupid move costs her $1000.

Even more “interesting” and I am surprised the BLM folks haven’t soiled themselves YET, is Alex making the point that contestant Iman reminded him of the “model “ , David Bowie’s paramour by the same name. Both are non white, ummmmmm can I say that?

Were these shows recorded prior to "the incident"? They stated recording dates in Feb 2020for the Teacher's Tournament.
