New York-WABC, July 14, 2005) — A wall at a building under construction collapsed, hurting several people on the Upper West Side Thursday.

It happened at West 100th Street and Broadway just before 9:30 a.m.

The building used to house a Gristides supermarket. The one story wall collapsed onto scaffolding at the site, and it then fell into the street and on the sidewalk.

As many as six people were hurt, and are being treated.
