Suggestions For Placing Radio Ad in SOMD?

As some of you know, I own the Marlow Heights 60s and 70s web site, and host a dance once a year, the, "Marlow Heights 60s and 70s Back to School Dance" (September 27 this year, Upper Marlboro Moose Lodge). I'm thinking of enhancing the advertising of the dance to radio spots, but I'm not sure what the costs could be, or if it would be even worth the cost. If anyone has any helpful information to pass on in this regard, I would greatly appreciate it.
