PGPD Suitland Fatal Shooting Under Investigation

Homicide Unit detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man Thursday evening in Suitland. The victim is 29-year-old Saquan Burnett of Suitland. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On April 7, 2022, at approximately 5:35 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3500 block of Silver Park Drive for a shooting. The victim was located inside of a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are
actively working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
