summer job for a 15 year old

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows of a place a 15 year old can get a job over the summer. I know that I can mow lawns and walk dogs but I'm talking about real jobs, not neighborhood work. If anybody can tell me that will be greatly appreciated.

p.s. If this is in the wrong section can somebody please move it to the right section? Thanks.

Depends on where you live but Raley's down in Ridge hires 15 year olds. Try an internship with lawn maintenance companies or something of the like. There are jobs out there, you just have to dig around. You will need a worker's permit signed by your parents and school though.

ok thx, i live in Hollywood so a job in Leonardtown or California would be nice or hollywood

The Dollar Store in Wildewood? I think they hire 15 year olds. Or even Shoppers Food Warehouse. Any fast food chain. Movie store, etc.

I heard that Chic Filet hires 15 year olds, it's great because you always have Sunday's off.

try the pool/spa companies... might need a pool boy to help with the cleaning/filling and setting up/installation...

If I were 15, I'd do it in a heart beat!

home builders? might need to be older.

Talk to any tobacco farmer in the area.(if you can find one) The tobacco field builds character and makes you appreciate what you do later in life.

Some of the fast food places hire 15 yr olds....but, you have to have a work permit from the school....it has to be signed by you, your parents and your counsler

i went to the counselor's office today and they said i need to actually get the job before getting hired, so im not sure how thats gonna work out.

I need a worker's permit to get a job but i need a job to get a worker's permit??

Try talking to the Greenery in Hollywood..Helping to load items to customers cars/trucks unload trucks. water plants... swing and swat?

I think you have to have a "start date" for a job then get the work permit from the school...get it signed from both the school and the employer....they can't hire you without giving the employer and the school a signed copy
