Can anybody help me in finding a local dealer who carries these tires?
My set of Dueler a/t's are getting thin. With over 60k miles on these tires, I am tempted to get another set. The reason I'm interested in the Summit's, is because a friend of mine down in MS. has a set with nearly 70k miles. He's got a 2000 z71 with 285/75/16,largest you can get on stock rims. Great looking tread and quiet running. They are also way cheaper than Bridgestone. Any help would be appreciated.

I think any of them could order them, but you could do that too. Usually free shipping and no sales tax.

You're right about ordering myself. I was just hoping to find a local outfit that might do it all. I called several local places and no one deals much with Summit Tire. Too bad,it's a good product for the money.

Thank You. Called, but no luck. I'll probably order them myself and let Don at Leonardtown BP put them on. Thanks for the response.

I don't see those tires being very quiet. They are going to be a MUCH different tire than the Bridgstones you are used to...louder, harsh ride...usual differences noticed when going from an AT to an MT. I did that, and I'm going back to the AT's. I can't take the noise of my MT's anymore, and when I got them, I got them cuz they were the quietest MT's available... Toyo MT's.

Just something to consider.

I understand your concern for noise, but I rode in his truck back in May on a visit down South and it suprised even me. I was surprised to say the least.

Thanks, but no Mud Dawgs there.

check here then. :yay: Summit Tires: Tuner, Touring, Broadline, Passenger, High Performance, Radial and Truck

Nevermind...their website sucks. Tires look good though. Try some of the smaller garages. Summit tires are polpular in the Poconos, but I know my family gets them from some of the smaller garages that they typically use. Don't go to the chains.

Try Chesyldine, and places like that...there's one next to Napa there on 235 in California that I can't think of the name for...
