Revelation 16:8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. 9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

The sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire: What is normally taken for granted as a blessing — the warmth of the shining sun — is now a curse.
They did not repent and give Him glory: The failure of men to respond with repentance shows that knowledge or experience of judgment will not change man’s sinful condition. Those who are not won by grace will never be won.

Short and sweet this morning.
The angel poured the bowl out on the sun. Let me say that again... "on the sun".
Can't you imagine it. Humans are looking up at the hot sun, cussing God for "making" them so thirsty. They see a lone cloud, it looks like an angel, and it looks like the cloud is raining on the sun. Then the sun erupts and singes the humans on earth!!
Does that stop the fist raising??? Nope... they are now raising freshly singed fists, showing the mark of the beast in the sunburn... but they are still trying to bend God's Will to fit their desires.
Humans are so frickin' stubborn!!! Some will never accept Christ!
