I love my bike, had it for years, very smooth, unreal fast, but you will think I'm lying, rode it for a year with a front flat tire. It always seemed a little heavy to push, but runs great even over 100 m.p.h. Don't laugh, now that I put air in, I almost liked the heavier steering better. Question, could it be the tire was OK to run with no air, like my head? I know it sounds wierd, but not kidding, it runs fine with no air in front tire? Make sense?

It usually causes the front end to wobble.

No Wobble

That's the wierd thing, I'll bet the front tire is designed to run with no air. The bike goes 130 beautifully, which is about top speed. I realize the modern machines go much faster, but it's gearing. My bike has unreal acceleration, but not much for top speed. But realistically, how safe and when can you use more than 130 mph? I can hear everyone laughing about no air, but no joking, went a year like that

Yes and Yes....

hubby not going?....there are going to be "biker guys" there and you might get picked up by one
I haven't asked him.

And, yeah, they'll be all into the woman with her 250 Honda..... :lmao:

But he just gave me the # to go look at a bigger bike. Could I own it by Sunday? Possibly. Could I learn to ride it by Sunday? Not likely. I'll keep the 250 as a back-up.

zepher or zrr

actually, i didn't realize it must be called a zephyr, the conventional looking bike, it's not the zrr sporty looking bike. It must be a zephyr, I thought it's a zr1100. But in your pix, aps, it's the conventional one, I really never liked the low slung bikes. I like the old fashioned straight looking bikes, ever since i had a Norton 750 when I was young. Ahhh, the Norton was so nice, times have changed.
